Anthology Announces Publishing Imprint

This newsletter arrives on the wind of change. Today marks the launch of Anthology Editions, our publishing venture and partnership with New York City culture iconoclasts Boo-Hooray.

The first fruit of our shared labor comes in the unidentified form of Flying Saucers Are Real!, a printed assemblage of ephemera and essays culled from author-collector Jack Womack’s UFO library and writings. As with future Editions endeavors, Flying Saucers! comes in standard and deluxe editions — be tempted by the devil in these details!

Soundtracks to Paul Witzig’s celebrated films from the golden age of late ‘60s / early ’70s Australian surf culture, Tully’s Sea of Joy and Tamam Shud’s Evolution are two crucial additions to our growing, flowing Surf Archive and available for pre-order today.

While you’re taking a trip through the Anthology site to place your pre-orders, we hope you enjoy our new design and editorial digs. Peel back a couple catalog layers and you’ll see that our mother label, Mexican Summer, also has a new skin.

It’s the dawning of the age of Anthology. Glad to have you with us.
