Saturday Day Pass: $15
– Limited Marfa Myths Bundle: $40. Includes Saturday night ticket, limited edition 12” from Dev Hynes and Connan Mockasin*, Marfa Myths tote bag and journal featuring contributions from participating and Marfa-based artists. Saturday ticket, tote bag and journal will be mailed out to all who purchase a bundle before February 22. Limited quantities available.

*Note: the Dev Hynes and Connan Mockasin 12″ will be recorded in Marfa during the festival and manufactured over the following months with delivery estimated by August 2015. Bundle price includes all shipping costs.

Marfa Myths is a cultural program taking place March 13 – 15, 2015 in Marfa, Texas curated by Mexican Summer and co-presented with Ballroom Marfa.

Programming for 2015 includes Jefre Cantu-Ledesma creating a 90-minute sound bath at holistic wellness center The WellGregg Kowalsky will perform a new iteration of Tape Chants – a live sound installation that explores the acoustics where the performances occur by setting up boomboxes and cassette players around a space, using only the cassette players’ speakers for amplification. Liz Harris (recording artist Grouper) will be in residence creating an outdoor mural which will be on view over the weekend. Dev Hynes and Connan Mockasin will be in residence at Marfa Recording Co. recording new collaborative tracks which will later be released on a 12″ EP.

Live programming throughout the weekend will include sets from Iceage, Grouper, Tamaryn, Steve Gunn, Weyes Blood, GABI, Thug Entrancer, Co La, Bitchin Bajas, LBS. and Suicideyear.

Two of Marfa’s most esteemed art institutions – The Chinati Foundation and The Judd Foundation – will also be open over the weekend. Check Visit Marfa for a comprehensive arts listing.
