Don’t Miss These Northside Festival Shows!

northside-festival Now in it’s eighth year, Northside Festival has made a name for itself as an event where attendees can see emerging new acts as well as all-time favorites, all in the same city block. The festival takes over essentially every venue in Williamsburg and Greenpoint, aka the North side of Brooklyn. Thus, Northside’s namesake. Mexican Summer is being represented by two of our killer artists, Weyes Blood and Pill. Weyes Blood performs a solo set at Music Hall of Williamsburg with Psychic Ills on Saturday night. Pill plays two shows, first taking the stage at Bushwick venue Alphaville on Saturday, then at Palisades on Sunday. If you haven’t yet seen Pill perform live, this is a great time to do so; the band’s new single “Medicine” received praise from outlets including NPR Music and Pitchfork, and are gearing up to release a debut LP Convenience later this summer.
