Headdress

A self-described “five-piece southern drone outfit from Texas,” Headdress is a dazzling combination of sloe-eyed country ballads, heavy psychedelic staring contest, and shamanistic chants. They self-released an EP, Silence Is Golden, followed by their first full-length album, Turquoise, a limited CDR only release. The album was later re-released in 2008. They continued to perform and release music, and as of 2012, were working on another LP.
